Our client, a renowned real estate company is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of the company’s development projects.

Job Summary
As a member of the Construction Team, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing project timelines, budget, contractors, risk and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the company’s quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, commercial, awareness and the ability to manage complex construction environment from inception to handover.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop detailed project plans, work schedules, and implementation timelines for all assigned projects.
· Develop and implement recovery programmes where delays occur, including resequencing of works, acceleration strategies and resource allocation.
· Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor and Finance team to review valuations, variations, and payment certificates.
· Monitor material usage and contractor claims to prevent cost overruns.
· Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
· Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including building permits, inspections, environmental, health and safety regulations and local authority approvals.
· Maintain accurate project records including site instructions, variations, correspondence and meeting minutes to support claims management and dispute resolution
· Evaluate contractor performance and escalate non-performance issues promptly.
· Ensure all construction activities meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
· Coordinate inspections and ensure defects are resolved within agreed timelines.
· Track and report key project KPIs including progress percentage, budget utilization, and risk indicators.
· Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
· Escalate critical risks affecting cost, timeline, or quality to the Director of Construction.
· Serve as the primary coordination point between internal teams (Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Marketing) and external stakeholders.
· Work with the Procurement team to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of project materials.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or related field
· Minimum 8 years progressive experience in construction or real estate project management
· Must have PMP (Project Management Professional)
· Membership with relevant professional bodies (e.g., Ghana Institution of Engineering, Ghana Institute of Construction)
· Proven track record of successfully delivering projects from initiation to completion
· Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
· Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and site teams
