Job Title: Shop Manager

Location: Amasaman-Accra Report To: Director

JOB SUMMARY

The Shop Manager will be responsible for the overall performance, operations, and profitability of three shop branches (two in Accra and the other, outside Accra). This role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, sales management, inventory control, and customer service excellence. The Manager will ensure consistent standards across all branches whiles driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

a. Operations & Branch Management

i. Oversee daily operations of three shop branches, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.

ii. Ensure all branches comply with company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures.

iii. Maintain consistent service quality and branding across all locations.

iv. Monitor branch productivity, turnaround times, and service standards.

b. Sales & Business Performance

i. Drive sales performance for tire sales, wheel alignment, balancing, repairs, and related services.

ii. Set monthly and quarterly sales targets for each branch and track performance.

iii. Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer retention.

iv. Work with branch teams to upsell services and promote seasonal or promotional offers.

c. Inventory & Supplier Management

i. Oversee tire and spare parts inventory across all branches.

ii. Ensure optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.

iii. Coordinate ordering, receiving, and stock transfers between branches.

iv. Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and product availability.

d. Staff Management & Leadership

i. Supervise, coach, and motivate branch supervisors, sales staff, and technicians.

ii. Recruit, train, and onboard new employees as needed.

iii. Schedule staff effectively across branches to meet business demands.

iv. Conduct performance evaluations and recommend promotions, training, or disciplinary actions.

e. Customer Service & Issue Resolution

i. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction across all branches.

ii. Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.

iii. Build long-term customer relationships with fleet clients and key accounts.

iv. Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.

f. Financial & Administrative Control

i. Monitor branch expenses, cash handling, and daily sales reports.

ii. Ensure accurate reporting of sales, stock, and expenses.

iii. Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

iv. Reduce waste, shrinkage, and operational inefficiencies.

g. Health, Safety & Compliance

i. Ensure all workshops follow safety regulations and proper use of equipment.

ii. Enforce cleanliness and proper workshop organization.

iii. Ensure staff adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

i. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

ii. 3–5 years’ experience in retail, automotive, or tire shop management.

iii. Strong knowledge of tire products, automotive services, and workshop operations.

iv. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

v. Good financial understanding (sales, costs, margins, inventory).

vi. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.

vii. Male candidate preferred; must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive.
